Principal Inspiration
Education today can be difficult and draining and amazing and fulfilling and so many things all wrapped into one. The dynamics of what we do can leave us needing every ounce of inspiration and motivation we can get. I have been a principal and educator for over 25 years, and I find my motivation and inspiration in many different places. As a principal I often find it my job to inspire and motivate and energize the team around me. I have to be the principle inspiration in my school. But what things inspire me as a principal. Welcome to Principal Inspiration, a podcast for educators. These are the people, stories, anecdotes, observations, conversations, and thoughts that are my principle inspiration on any given day. My sincere hope in sharing is that you might be inspired as well. I hope this podcast leaves you feeling energized, challenged, and ready to go be awesome! Our students deserve nothing less.

Episode 1
Meet Mr. Bass an elementary music teacher who took the time to support me as a student in a rather unique way. He helped me with my voice... quite literally. Isn't that a primary responsibility of each of us as educators. To help each student with their voice. To help them recognize they have a voice and that voice is important in the world. One incredible educator just recently inspired me to use my voice. John Spencer in a podcast titled "The World Needs Your Voice" inspired me to make this podcast. You can listen to John here, http://www.spencerauthor.com/your-voice/. I hope that you find today's podcast inspiring and that it helps you go be awesome.
